OK, you know you should visit your dentist at least every 6 months for dental cleaning and checkups. You should brush your teeth after every meal and floss once daily. Here are a few more things you need to know.

Limit between meal snacking ‘ especially sugar and acid based food.

When you brush, brush for at least 2 minutes. An electric toothbrush with a timer isbest.

Floss before you brush. It helps to clear out excess food deposits that your brush

can’t reach easily.

Drink water between brushing. Rinse your mouth following a meal or snack to clean

away sugar and acid.

Get you fill of fluoride. Use a toothpaste with fluoride, and drink fluoridated water.

Tap water beats bottled water.

QUIT SMOKING!!! It greatly increases the chances of gum disease.

Keep your smile beautiful for life.
